Quan Zhi Gao Shou! One of the best action / drama anime series 2017. And at the same time, one of the most underrated series (sadly). Story about professional gamer forced to leave his old team finds a job at the Internet café to get back into the game with alt character.

Quan Zhi Gao Shou! Amazing series, first thing that popped into my head after watching episode 1, “I hope these series get Season 2”. Quan Zhi Gao Shou is a Chinese web novel series finished airing (TV 1) on June 16 2017. Stunning and atmospheric series for those into MMO RPG gaming and those who enjoy anime about online games such as Danmachi, Kono Suba etc. Even though it’s about MMO RPG, however, in a way, The King’s Avatar is not a Kono Suba or Danmachi alike and most importantly, unlike many anime series today, it does not pretend to be one. Yes it’s about online gaming, but unlike the two anime mentioned above, characters in Quan Zhi Gao Shou are not actually transported to a fantasy world. The story, the drama, action and effects, the art and soundtracks, everything is nearly perfect in The King’s Avatar series. The only problem, or rather unusual thing about the anime series is the names… Chinese names that none of us are used to. Names are kind of hard to remember and you often have no idea who the characters are talking about.

Very Good!
Unexpected Surprise!, Very unique project: well-planned and executed.
Anime is a lot more appealing then the novel it is based on.
